Gautam Gambhir scored the ninth century of his Test career on Wednesday, Day 4 of the first Test against Bangladesh.
It was also his fifth in consecutive matches. He thus became only the fourth batsman in Test annals to score centuries in five consecutive matches, behind Don Bradman, and along with Jacques Kallis and Mohammad Yousuf.
When he goes out to bat again in second Test at Mirpur, he will have a great chance of equalling Bradman's world record.
