Parthiv to lead India in Emerging Players tourney

Wicketkeeper batsman Parthiv Patel [ Images ] will lead a 15-member Indian squad at the Emerging Players Tournament in Brisbane [ Images ], Australia [ Images ], from August 8 to 20.

Cheteshwar Pujara [ Images ], who led India [ Images ] 'A' recently in England [ Images ], was named Patel's deputy by the senior national selection committee that met on Tuesday in Chennai to pick the squad.

New Zealand [ Images ], South Africa [ Images ] and Australia will take part in the tournament, comprising T20 and 50-over matches.
