Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ejaz Butt is scheduled to meet the International Cricket Council (ICC) chief Sharad Pawar in India on Thursday.

Butt will have a meeting with Pawar to discuss the spot-fixing controversy, issues related to World Cup revenues and resumption of bilateral cricket between India and Pakistan, the Daily Times reports.

The Match-Fixing Episode II

Ijaz's visit comes in the wake of the spot-fixing scandal, in which four Pakistan players have been interrogated by Scotland Yard and three of them - Muhammad Amir, Mohammad Asif and Salman Butt - have been provisionally suspended by the ICC under its anti-corruption code.

British police, after interrogating them, levelled no charges and allowed the trio to return home, on an undertaking that they would return to Britain when required. The players will now go through an ICC hearing over the unspecified charges contained in the governing body's code of conduct.

Meanwhile, in a bid to contest disciplinary action by the ICC, the tainted trio had entered a plea of not guilty, demanding the provisional suspensions to be lifted.
