Nathan Lyon took six wickets as India were bowled out for 307 in their second innings, setting Australia 323 for victory, on Day 4 of the first Test.

Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara hit half-centuries before India collapsed in the post-lunch session, losing their last five wickets for 25 runs. Infact, the last four wickets fell for the addition of just four runs.

Rahane hit 70, while Pujara made a solid 71 as the duo put on 87 runs for the fourth wicket to build India's lead.

But Lyon kept Australia in the hunt with wickets at regular intervals.

After dismissing Kohli late on Day 3, Lyon got the wickets of Pujara, Rohit (1), Rishabh Pant (28), Rahane and Shami on the fourth day.

Starc picked up three for 40, while Josh Hazlewood took one for 43.

There is still four and half sessions left in the match and with the pitch offering a lot of turn, India will be hoping Ashwin can make an impact with the ball and take them to victory.
