Opener Narine took the Punjab bowlers to the cleaners as he smashed an entertaining 75 from 36 balls before Karthik provided the flourish at the end, blasting 50 from 23 balls to propel KKR to a huge 245 for six in their 20 overs.
In reply, the in-form KL Rahul gave Punjab early hopes with a smashing knock of 66 from 29 balls, while Ravichandran Ashwin stroked a quickfire 45 from 22 balls at the end but the hosts finished on 214 for eight.
