WI 31-0 (10 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

Ashwin strikes in his next over as he traps Powell leg before wicket for 16.  The left-hander immediately takes the review and rightly so as he had got a big inside edge before the ball hit his pads.

Powell chips down the track but Ashwin adjusts well and the left-hander can only defend it on the off-side.

Umesh bowls a tidy over to Brathwaite, who watchfully defends to give the pacer his first maiden over of the innings.

Powell again keen to run down to Ashwin as he clips the spinner on the leg side for one before Brathwaite again blocks the rest of the over.

Powell keeps the scoreboard moving as he continues to go for his shots. He throws his bat at a wide delivery from Umesh, but gets a thick outside edge which flies past the gully for a four.

Umesh then makes a good comeback as he sends down a quick yorker which Brathwaite does well to keep out.

An appeal for a catch down the leg side for Ashwin against Brathwaite is turned down. He is happy to defend and see off the new ball as he carefully plays out a maiden.

West Indies off to a good start as they reach 31 for one in 10 overs, with Powell on 21 and Brathwaite on 10.

They started off in quick fashion before India pulled back things, giving away just seven runs in six overs.
