Rohit takes one before Karthik nearly plays it back on to his stumps as he misses the flick off an incoming delivery.

India have made a good start as they reach 57 for two in 10 overs, with Bangladesh staying in the contest with the two early wickets.

Rohit has stroked his way to 36 from 31 balls, while Karthik is on three.

Fast bowler Rubel Hossain comes into the attack and he gets off to a good start, giving away just a single in his first over. Rohit watchfully defends the first five balls before he guides the last ball to thirdman for one.

In the next over, Rohit clips Mortaza on the leg side for one before the fast bowler gets one to move away quite a bit with Karthik withdrawing his bat just in time after initially looking for the drive.

He cuts the last ball square past point but the thirdman fielder does well to keep it down to just two.

In the next over, Rubel has Rohit in some trouble with the slower ball as he looks to clip it across but the leg before appeal is turned down as he collects a leg bye.

Karthik steers the third ball down to thirdman for a single and Rohit collects another easy run on the leg side.

Rubel tries a quick short ball as Karthik sways out of the way before he uppishly cuts the last ball for another single.

India are well placed on 67 for two in 13 overs, needing another 156 runs for victory at an asking rate of 4.2.

Rohit looks keen to stay till the end, having stroked his way to 39 from 42 balls, while Karthik is on nine.
