RCB 161-7 (20 ovs) vs CSK | Scorecard

Parthiv Patel hit a brisk half-century but Chennai Super Kings' bowlers were able to restrict Royal Challengers Bangalore to a below-par 161 for seven, in their 20 overs.

Parthiv smashed 53 from 37 balls but none of the other RCB batsmen were able to get past the 30-run mark as the hosts kept losing wickets at regular intervals.

Deepak Chahar once again impressed with the ball, taking two for 25, while Ravindra Jadeja, Dwayne Bravo claimed two wickets each, while Imran Tahir picked up one for 31.

Chahar provided the early breakthrough with the key wicket of Virat Kohli, who was caught behind for nine.

Ravindra Jadeja then bowled a fine spell in the midde overs, taking the wickets of AB de Villiers (25) and Akshdeep Nath (24), who were unable to carry on after getting off to starts.

Moeen Ali provided the impetus at the end, as he stroked a quickfire 26 from 16 balls at the end.
