WI 37-1 (12 ovs) vs India 297 | Scorecard

Debutant Shamarh Brooks walks out at No 3. Change of ends for Bumrah as he takes over from Ishant.

The first ball moves away late as Brathwaite gets the edge but it falls short of the gully fielder.

He defends the rest of the over before taking a single from the last ball to retain strike.

Shami follows it up with another testing over to Brathwaite, who watchfully plays out a maiden over.

West Indies are 37 for one in 10 overs, as India managed to pull them back after a flying start while also making the breakthrough.

Brooks defends solidly against Bumrah as he reaches out to a full delivery to block it. Shami tries a couple of bouncers but Brooks is content to leave them alone.

This is good testing bowling by the two Indian pacers, bowling in a good channel and not letting the Windies batsmen get away.

Three maiden overs in a row as West Indies reach 37 for one in 12 overs.
