WI 12-1 (5 ovs) vs India 288-8 | Scorecard

Hope defends Chahar with a straight bat, back to the bowler before he offers no shot to the next two balls.

Hope blocks the fourth ball watchfully before he drives a full delivery through the off-side where Kohli makes a good stop before he hits the next ball past mid-off for two runs, to score the first runs against Chahar after 11 dot balls in a row.

In the next over, Ambris taps Shami on the leg side for a quick single. Hope continues to be watchful as he defends the remaining five deliveries to end another tight over from Shami.

Chahar makes the breakthrough with the wicket of Ambris, who is trapped leg before wicket for nine. The  right-hander plays all over a full incoming delivery trying to play it across the line on the leg side which he misses and is trapped plumb leg before wicket. Not surprisingly, he decides not to take the review as he walks away straightaway as West Indies lose an early wicket.

Shimron Hetmyer walks in at No 3. He edges the third ball he faces, poking at a wide delivery but it falls short of the slips before he takes a single off the last ball.

Windies struggling on 12-1 after five overs.
