WI 178-1 (33 ovs) vs India 287-8 | Scorecard

Despite Hope completing his fifty from 92 balls, it has not affected the West Indies momentum as Hetymer has kept them in touch with the asking rate with his positive batting from the other end.

Hope flicks a full toss from Kuldeep through midwicket for two runs before the third ball spins big down the leg side as it hits the batsman's pads and goes fine for three leg byes.

A single each to the two batsmen to get seven from Kuldeep's seventh over.

Jadeja only bowls a tidy over, giving away just five singles before he is called back as the TV umpire has spotted the frontfoot no ball.

Jadeja has to come back to bowl the free hit delivery with Hetmyer (99) on strike but he is unable to find the gap through the covers and misses out on some easy runs.

Hetmyer completes his century in the next over as he drives Kuldeep down to long-on. He brought up the landmark from just 85 balls, hitting eight fours and four sixes, to single-handedly keep West Indies in the contest.

West Indies 178 for one in 33 overs, with 110 runs needed from 17 overs for victory at an asking rate of 6.4.

Hetmyer has slammed 101 from 86 balls, while Hope has played second fiddle on 58 from 105 balls.
