WI 79-1 (15 ovs) vs India 287-8 | Scorecard

Kuldeep beats Hope all ends up with the wrong one which turns sharply past the outside edge. He watchfully defends the next two balls before taking a single on the leg side and Hetmyer clips the fifth ball through square for a couple and keeps strike with one to long-on.

Part-time off-spinner Kedar Jadhav comes into the attack, as he replaces Dube, who bowled two overs for 15 runs.

The first ball is short and wide as Hetmyer crashes it square on the off-side for a four and slaps the next to sweeper cover for one.

Hetmyer (29) gets a lifeline as he escapes a run out opportunity. Hope had clipped the ball to midwicket where Kohli put in the dive. The two batsmen had a big 'yes no' moment before deciding to go throw for the single.

Kohli threw off balance but his throw was way off the stumps allowing the struggling Hetmyer to make his crease safely.

Hetmyer then steers a short wide delivery behind point for a four before taking one to get 11 runs from Jadhav's first over.

In the next over, Hetmyer goes after Kuldeep as he sweeps the spinner over midwicket for a six, to race to 40 from 34 balls.

A single each to Hetmyer and Hope before the former is nearly done in by the googly which he fails to pick and then sensibly drives the last ball to long-on for one.

West Indies have bounced back well to reach 79 for one in 15 overs, having scored 43 runs from the last five overs.

Hetmyer has hit his way to 42 from 38 balls, while Hope has been steady on 23 from 44 balls.
