In the next over, Pant pulls Pollard to midwicket to take a couple of runs as the fielder fumbles in the deep.

He then drives a wide delivery through the covers for a four before the bowler gets revenge off the very next delivery.

Pant clips it straight into the hands of the fielder at deep square leg to perish after a well made 71 from 69 balls, having hit seven fours and a six.

The next ball is short as Jadhav pulls it over midwicket for a six.

India are well set for the closing stages as they reach 216 for five in 40 overs.
