India 11-0 (4 ovs) vs NZ 157 | Scorecard

A short session for India's openers before the break as New Zealand were bowled out early.

Trent Boult starts off with the ball for the Kiwis, who will be keen to claim a few early wickets and make a match out of this.

Rohit Sharma clips the first ball down to fine leg for one to get off the mark and Dhawan defends the next three balls before he does the same off the fifth for his first run.

Tim Southee from the other end. Dhawna drives the first ball through the covers for just a single.

Rohit then attempts a quick run on the leg side and is slow to reach the crease but is able to cover the throw from reaching the stumps as it hits his elbow before Dhawan takes another single.

Boult has a huge shout for leg before wicket turned down against Dhawan, who tried to whip it across the line but was beaten.

Dhawan then takes one on the off-side before a watchful Rohit defends the rest of the over.

Southee nearly breaks through Dhawan's defence with a quick yorker but the left-hander somehow keeps it out. He then slaps a short wide delivery into the off-side as Santner dives full length to his right to some runs.

Dhawan then looks to clip the next ball on the leg side but gets a leading edge which flies over the off-side field and goes for a four.

Dhawan then keeps strikes with a single from the last ball.
