Pak 166-6 (35 ovs) vs India 336-5 | Scorecard

The rain has come back forcing the players off the ground but the result looks a foregone conclusion now.

India are looking all set to make it 7-0 against Pakistan in World Cups.

After putting on a huge 336 for five in their 50 overs, they have reduced Pakistan to a lowly 166 for six in 35 overs. They need 171 from 15 overs for victory at an asking of 11, with just four wickets in hand.

Even if the game is stopped now, India will be comfortable winners as Pakistan are 86 runs behind the Duckworth-Lewis calculations.

Kuldeep bowled an exceptional spell, dismissing the well-set duo of Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman (62) in successive overs to trigger the middle order collapse.

Hardik Pandya then struck with two wickets in a row -- that of Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik to leave Pakistan on the brink.

Vijay Shankar made a handy contribution with the ball on his World Cup debut, taking two for 22.

It was a clinical showing with the ball by India, who were handicapped by the absence of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who had to retire after bowling just 2.4 overs because of an injury.
