Mohammed Shami to open the bowling for India with South Africa having a new opening pair in Dean Elgar and Quinton de Kock.

The first ball rises sharply but goes down the leg side as wicketkeeper Saha is unable to stop it and gives away four byes.

But the next ball, again short, is on the mark as Elgar in caught in two minds whether to leave or defend but the ball takes the glove and the left-hander is caught behind for a duck.

Zubayr Humza is greeted by a quick bouncer which he ducks under and he is then beaten by a sharp incoming delivery before he plays out the last two balls.

Umesh Yadav from the other end. He starts by bowling wide as Quinton de Kock offers no shot to the first four balls before he slaps a wide delivery through the covers for a four to get off the mark.

But Umesh gets revenge the very next delivery with a cracking delivery. A short delivery aimed at the body as de Kock tries to sway out of the way but gets hit on the gloves and is caught behind for four.

South Africa in early trouble on 8/2 in two overs.
