Umesh continues to chance his arm against Linde. He swings Linde over the long-on fence for his third six in a row against the left-arm spinner.

Linde goes short and wide as Umesh is beaten trying to cut before he lofts another full delivery as he just about clears the man at long-off for another six.

Linde gives it more flight but goes wide as Umesh swings and misses.

But the next ball is right in the slot, full and on the stumps, as Umesh blasts it back over the bowler's head for another six, his fifth, as he races to 31 from nine balls -- his highest score in Test cricket.

But Linde gets revenge as Umesh miscues another attempted big hit and is caught on the leg side by wicketkeeper Klaasen after an entertaining 31 from 10 balls.
