SA 36-5 (17 ovs) f/o & 162 vs India 497-9 | Scorecard

Umesh gets a break as Ravindra Jadeja comes into the attack. A watchful Klaasen plays out a maiden over with utmost caution, looking to block everything.

Shami tries a short ball to left-hander Linde, who ducks under it before he is beaten outside the off-stump as India appeal for caught behind which is turned down and they decide against the review.

Jadeja rushes through his second over, bowling another maiden, as Klaasen is content to defend.

Umesh comes back into the attack as he replace Shami. Linde flays the second ball through the covers for a four and then takes one on the leg side before Klaasen picks two to square leg.

Jadeja wasting no time as he bowls his third maiden over in a row, to Klaasen.

Umesh makes the breakthrough from the other end. Klaasen is done in for pace as he plays from the crease but misses the incoming delivery and is struck right in front to be trapped leg before wicket for five.

South Africa are reduced to 36 for five, and with Elgar unlikely to bat after the blow on the helmet, they are effectively six down.

Two fielders close in at midwicket for Dane Piedt against Umesh but the right-hander watchfully defends the rest of the over.
