India 131-6 (28 ovs) vs NZ 273-8 | Scorecard

India's scoring rate has dipped below five runs per over. Southee continues to build the pressure with four dot balls in a row to Jadeja, who then slashes a short wide delivery over the slips for a four.

At the halfway stage, India are struggling on 108 for five in 25 overs, needing another 166 runs for victory from 25 overs at an asking rate of 6.64.

Iyer has battled hard to keep India in the hunt, hitting 45 from 49 balls.

Bennett bowls in a good channel just on and around the off-stump to concede just three singles, from his fourth over.

Neesham comes back into the attack. Iyer picks a single from the first ball before Jadeja gets a thick inside edge which narrowly misses the leg stump and goes fine on the leg side for a four and then clips the next square on the leg side for two runs.

Neesham then bowls a short delivery which goes over the batsman and the wicketkeeper for five wides before Jadeja plays another clip through the leg side for two runs to get 14 from the over.

In the next over, Iyer edges Bennett fine on the off-side for a four to complete his fifty from 55 balls.

But he perishes the very next delivery as he makes room and tries to slash Bennett over the off-side but gets an edge and is caught behind for 52.

Shardul Thakur drives a full delivery through the covers for two runs to get off the mark.
