Rahul out for 4 as India continue to slip
February 08, 2020  13:36

India 76-4 (16 ovs) vs NZ 273-8 | Scorecard

Medium pacer Colin de Grandhomme comes into the attack as he replaces Southee.

He strikes in his first over with the key wicket of the in-form KL Rahul, who gets an inside edge and is bowled for eight, as India slip to 71 for four in the 14th over.

Kedar Jadhav watchfully plays out the rest of the over as de Grandhomme starts off with a wicket-maiden.

Iyer defends the first two balls from Jamieson before he slashes a short wide delivery over the off-side cordon for a four before playing out the last three balls with caution.

In the next over, Jadhav steers de Grandhomme to thirdman for a single before Iyer is unable to get a run off the last four balls, as just one comes from the over.
