Mumbai 8-1 (2 ovs) vs KKR

Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock are the two openers for Mumbai Indians, while Sandeep Warrier will open the bowling for KKR.

The first ball is full as de Kock taps it to mid-off and takes a quick single to get off the mark.

The next ball is outside the off-stump and moves away slightly as Rohit is beaten playing inside the line before he blocks the next two balls watchfully on the off-side.

A short wide ball from Warrier as Rohit slaps it off the backfoot but can't get it past the fielder at point before the pacer bowls a wide down the leg side.

That wide proves costly as Rohit slashes the last ball square on the off-side, all the way over the point boundary for a six to get off the mark in smashing fashion.

No Sunil Narine or Pat Cummins with the new ball as Shivam Mavi comes in from the other end. He strikes with his second delivery as de Kock top edges the pull shot and is caught on the leg side for one.

Rohit flicks the next ball as it falls just short of the fielder at midwicket before he is beaten by the inswinger delivery two balls later.

A perfect start for Mavi as he begins with a wicket-maiden with Mumbai reduced to 8-1 in two overs.
