NZ Inns 2: 11-0 (2 ovs); Target: 540 | Scorecard

The two openers Tom Latham and Will Young have their task cut with New Zealand batting for survival on a pitch not very easy for batting.

Mohammed Siraj, who bowled a fiery spell with the ball in the first innings, will open the bowling for India.

Latham pushes the first ball on the leg side for a single to get off the mark. The next ball is down the pads as Young glances it fine for a four and clips the fourth ball square for a couple.

Ravichandran Ashwin from the other end. Latham watchfully defends the first two deliveries before he sweeps the third for a four, looking to disrupt Ashwin's rhythm.

Ashwin bowls a ripper, turn and bounce as Latham is beaten all ends up as Saha does well to pouch it.

He looks to sweep the fifth ball but can't get it away before blocking out the last ball.
