Dedutant Samson comes in to bat at No 3 and after two dots, he gets off the mark with a single to mid-wicket.

6 runs and a wicket come in the over.

Chameera continues and he bowls on Shaw's pads who chips the ball nicely for a four.

Shaw then takes a single before Chameera strikes!

He bowls in that channel just outside off, invites Dhawan to drive who gets a nick and is caught behind. The Indian captain goes for 13 as India lose their first wicket. 


Spinner Akila Dhananjay into the attack now and  Dhawan just goes down on his knees, frees his arms and smacks it over extra cover for a four.

Back-to-back fours and there is another widish ball that Dhawan whacks through square on the off side for a four. 

Another half-volley and Dhawan plays it between cover and point for another boundary.

After a dot, Dhawan offers no shot and pads the ball, big shout for LBW, umpire says not out. Lankans take the review and lose it as the review showed the ball would have missed the off stump.

Dhawan and Shaw come out to bat for India while Chameera opens the bowling for Sri Lanka as he bowls well, nice length ball that as Shaw plays with a nice push for a single. 

Next ball, Chameera tries to bring the ball into the left-hander but the ball swings wide down the leg side and it runs past the keeper for a boundary. Called wide. 

After three dots, Dhawan gets off the mark with a single to third man.

Chameera then bowls a good one that Shaw just defends but the ball goes down to third man for a four as 11 come off the opening over.
