NZ 101-2 (49 ovs) vs  India 217 | Scorecard

With the rain showing no signs of relenting, the umpires were forced to call off play on Day 4 in Southampton.

"Update: Play on Day 4 abandoned due to rain. We thank our fans who turned up and kept the tempo high. See you again, tomorrow," tweeted BCCI.

Only 141.1 overs have been bowled in the match so far, with rain also washing out the entire opening day's play on Friday.

The WTC final has a reserve day on June 23 to make up for the loss of playing time.

New Zealand will resume Day 5 on 101-2, having bowled out India for 217 to take the upper hand.

Captain Kane Williamson, batting on 12, and Ross Taylor, who is yet to score, will be looking to push for a significant first-innings lead if play restarts on Tuesday.
