Welcome to the coverage of the ICC World Test Championship between India and New Zealand in Southampton on Monday.

The start of Day 4 is set to be delayed because of persistent rain.

It rained through the night in Southampton and the wet weather continues to play spoilsport at the Ageas Bowl.

The weather forecast is not encouraging either with rain forecast for remainder of the fourth day.

The opening day was washed out due to rain before New Zealand elected to bowl on a rain-curtailed Day 2.

Kyle Jamieson took five wickets and opener Devon Conway hit a half-century to give New Zealand the upper hand on Day 3.

Jamieson claimed 5-31, his fifth five-wicket haul in his eighth test, to help bowl out India for a below-par 217.

New Zealand reached 101-2, 116 runs behind, when bad light forced early stumps at the Ageas Bowl. Conway made 54 before chipping Ishant Sharma to Shami at mid-on in the final over.
