Latham plays a rash shot as he tries to pull Shami but is beaten by the extra bounce. But he does well to get right behind the next ball pitched up.

The last ball slips down the leg side as Latham misses the glance but it goes fine off the pads for four leg byes.

Ishant gets the ball to swing in as Conway is hit on the pads trying to flick for a leg bye.

Two balls later, Latham falls over trying to flick and is struck on the pads but the ball is going down. He then guides a wide delivery behind point for a couple to get off the mark and and gets another couple as he glances the fifth ball fine on the leg side.

In the next over, Conway tries to pull Shami but can't get it away due to the extra bounce. He is then beaten outside the off-stump as he pokes away from his body.

Shami overpitches as Conway plays a beautiful straight drive back past the bowler for a four.

New Zealand off to a good start as they reach 14 for no loss in six overs, needing another 125 runs for victory.
