India 47-3 (30 ovs) vs Eng 205 | Scorecard

Rohit drives Leach through the covers for a single to the fielder in the deep.

Rahane defends the next ball with soft hands before he defends the next off the front foot after initially looking to pad it away.

He then punches the fifth ball through the off-side for a single to get off the mark and Rohit pushes the last ball into the covers.

Stokes was struggling with an upset stomach on Day 1 but on the second day he has put in a giant effort with the ball to lead England's superb fightback.

Stokes again gets the ball to bounce sharply as Rahane fends it on the off-side. He then blocks another short ball towards point off the backfoot before he avoids a short delivery wide of the off-stump.

Another short ball which Rahane keeps down before he pushes the last ball into the off-side.

Rohit comes down the track to Leach and tries to defend but is hit on the pads. The confident shout for leg before wicket is turned down with Rohit a long way down the track.

Rohit has had enough of the blocking as he comes down the track and lofts Leach over mid-off for a four, to register just his third boundary from 88 balls and overall India's fourth boundary in the 30th over.

Rohit then leaves a full delivery expecting it to turn but it goes straight on and Leach is excited as he was able to fox the India opener.

He then gets the ball to bounce quite steeply off length as Rohit has to take evasive action and wicketkeeper Ben Foakes does well to collect the ball and whip off the bails in a flash despite being off balance.
