India 294-7 (94 ovs) vs Eng 205 | Scorecard

Leach continues as Axar defends the first few balls and then pulls the fourth ball for a single and Sundar clips the next for another run.

Sundar looks to take on Bess as he lofts the spinner over mid-off as the ball barely clears the fielder for a couple of runs.

Bess then gets one to turn sharply as Sundar comes forward to defend but is beaten. Wicketkeeper Foakes whips off the bails in a flash but Sundar has his back foot firmly on the ground.

Bess then has something to smile about as he strikes with the wicket of Sundar, who is given out leg before wicket.

Sundar feels confident enough to take the review rightaway as soon as the umpire raised his finger as he believes there was an inside edge.

UltraEdge confirms the inside edge as the decision is reversed and Sundar continues.

Leach beats Axar with one that goes straight on and bounces more than expected. Two balls later, he pads up to a wide delivery which is turning in but the leg before shout is turned down.

India finish the second day's play on 294/7 in 94 overs, for an overall lead of 89 runs with three wickets in hand.

Sundar finishes unbeaten on 60 from 117 balls, having hit eight fours, while Axar is on 11 from 34 balls.

India scored 141 runs in 32 overs for the loss of one wicket in the post-tea session to turn things around in style courtesy of Pant's swashbuckling century.

He added 113 runs for the seventh wicket with Sundar to help India take the lead on a pitch getting difficult for batting.

For England, Anderson picked up 3/40, while Ben Stokes and Jack Leach picked up two wickets each.
