India 36-1 (22 ovs) vs Eng 205 | Scorecard

Anderson continues as England still hunt for their first wicket of the day. Rohit happy not to chase the wide ones as he offers no shot to the first three balls.

He then defends the fourth ball straight back before he leaves the last two balls to end another maiden over from Anderson, his seventh in nine overs.

Stokes gets the ball to rise sharply but the line is wide of the off-stump as Pujara is able to leave it easily.

The next ball comes in as Pujara blocks it out and does the same next ball before Stokes tries another short ball which is left alone.

Anderson follows it up with another maiden over to Rohit as the India opener again does well to keep out the over from the veteran pacer.

Runs are not a problem for India even though just 10 runs have come from nine overs on Day 2. Rohit and Pujara have done well to play out the pacers in the morning session and they will hope to reap rewards as the day progresses.

Finally, England introduce spin as Jack Leach comes into the attack. He starts with a poor delivery which goes way down the leg side before Pujara cuts the next for a single.

Leach then beats Rohit with a beauty as he gets the ball to turn away sharply and go past the edge.

Rohit then pushes the next on the leg side for a single before Pujara gets an edge but it falls short of the slip fielder.
