Pakistan 70-4 (12 ovs) vs NZ 134-8 | Scorecard

Mohammed Hafeez makes his intent right clear. He swings the first ball he faces, from medium pacer Neesham, over the off-side for a six to get off the mark in grand style.

The next ball is driven to long-on for one and Rizwan takes a single to deep square leg. Hafeez clips the last ball through midwicket for two runs, as 11 runs come from the over.

At the halfway stage, Pakistan are 58/2 in 10 overs, needing another 77 runs from the last 10 overs for victory.

Santner comes back into the attack. Five singles from the first five balls before a piece of magic on the field by Conway gets them the wicket of Hafeez.

Hafeez lofts the spinner over the off-side as the ball looks destined to go for a four but Conway running to his left at long-off dives full length and comes up with a stunning catch.

Sodhi is back into the attack. He drops short as Rizwan pulls it over midwicket for a four.

But the bowler has the last laugh. The full delivery goes straight on as Rizwan is struck plumb in front to be dismissed for 33.

This is a huge breakthrough for New Zealand as Pakistan are reduced to 70/4 in 12 overs, needing another 65 runs in eight overs for victory.
