In the next over, Williamson taps Shadab on the off-side for a single before Conway tries the reverse sweep but can't beat the fielder at short thirdman.

Conway pulls the third ball through midwicket for two runs before he sweeps the next ball through square leg for a four as the fielder misses an easy stop on the boundary.

He repeats the shot but this time perfectly in the gap for another boundary.

Shadab tries the googly as Conway reverse sweeps it fine, past the fielder inside the circle for another four.

Shadab goes for 15 runs in his third over as NZ reach 90/3 in 15 overs.

Against the run of play, Pakistan strike with the key wicket of captain Williamson.

Williamson taps the first ball on the off-side and tries for a quick single but is sent back. However, Hasan is quick to get to the ball on his follow through and catches the Kiwi captain short with a direct hit.

Williamson is run out for 25 as New Zealand are reduced to 90/4.

New batsman Glenn Phillips is struck on the pads by a quick incoming delivery from Hasan as he tries to flick it square.

He takes a single next ball to deep square leg to get off the mark and Conway clips the fifth ball to fine leg for one as the umpires rule it a no-ball.

Phillips pulls the free hit delivery but gets just a single to deep square leg and Conway takes one to midwicket.

Pacer Rauf, who has three overs in hand, is back into the attack. He gives away just five singles in the 15th over as New Zealand bring up their 100.
