Venkatest Iyer to make ODI debut

South Africa captain Temba Bavuma has won the toss and elected to bat in the 1st ODI against India at Boland Park in Paarl on Wednesday.

Bavuma is looking to win the first ODI to climb up the World Series to qualify for the 2023 World Cup in India.

Rahul says India would have batted first too but hopes that Bumrah takes early wickets before the spinners will test the batters in the middle overs.

Vekatesh Iyer makes his ODI debut while Bhuvneshwar Kumar returns. Shreyas to bat at No 4, reveals Rahul at the toss.
