GT 79-1 (8 Ovs) vs DC 224-4 | Scorecard

After the powerplay, Axar Patel is brought into the attack by DC. Sai Sudharsan and Saha start cautiously, exchanging a single each to rotate the strike.

There's a loud appeal for lbw as Saha is struck on the pad with an in-drifter from Axar. The umpire initially rules not out, but DC opts for a review. However, the replays show that the angle of the delivery would have taken it down the leg side, and the decision is upheld with Saha surviving the scare.

Saha plays the next delivery towards point for no run, unable to find the gap in the field.

The following delivery is tucked past square leg by Sudharsan, allowing the batsmen to pick up a couple of runs. In total, 4 runs come off Axar's over, taking GT's total to 71-1 after 7 overs.

Kuldeep Yadav is introduced into the attack by DC. Sudharsan works the first delivery to midwicket but decides against taking a single.

In the next delivery, Sudharsan showcases his skill by cutting the ball late and finding the gap to beat the short third man fielder for four runs, adding to GT's total.

He follows it up with a jab to deep midwicket for a single, rotating the strike effectively.

Kuldeep then fires one wide outside off, forcing Pant to dive to his right to stop the ball, preventing any additional runs.

The over concludes with two more singles, as GT adds 8 runs to their total, reaching 79-1 after 8 overs.
