India 458-8 (164 ovs) vs WI 196 | Scorecard

The good news is that the rain has stopped and the players are back on the field to resume proceedings in the post-lunch session.

Around 50 minutes of play was lost because of rain but India will not be bothered with still lots of time left in the Test match.

It remains to be seen if India change their approach considering the change in the weather, if they will be a bit more aggressive and try to put the West Indies in for an hour or two, before stumps on the third day.

Rahane gets going after the resumption with a single on the off-side off Cummins from the second ball and Mishra is able to see off the remaining four deliveries.

Chase sends Mishra back as he gets him caught at short fine leg off an inside edge. Mishra walks back immediately, not waiting for the umpire's decision, after having scored 21 from 42 balls.

He strikes another blow off the very next delivery as Mohammed Shami is bowled for a first-ball duck. Shami played for the turn but the ball went on straight and hit the off-stump. Umesh Yadav was able to keep out the hat-trick delivery as he blocked it on the off-side.
