Statistical highlights: India vs Sri Lanka, 5th ODI

# With a no-result game, India [ Images ] have played 31, winning 17 and losing 10 this year. Four games involving India could not produce results - the most by any country in 2009. India's winning percentage is 62.96.

# Sri Lanka [ Images ] have won 12 and lost 14 out of the 27 contested with only one no-result game this year. Sri Lanka's winning percentage is 46.15.

# Sanath Jayasuriya [ Images ] (20 years 1 day) has become the third player after Javed Miandad [ Images ] (20 years 272 days) and Sachin Tendulkar [ Images ] (20 years 6 days) to have played ODIs for 20 years.

# Appearing in his 85th ODI on Indian soil, Harbhajan Singh [ Images ], with Jayasuriya's wicket, has become the fifth bowler to take 100 wickets in India, joining Anil Kumble [ Images ] (126), Ajit Agarkar [ Images ] (109), Javagal Srinath (103) and Kapil Dev [ Images ] (100).

# Dilshan's tally of  353 (avg 70.60) is a record in Sri Lanka-India ODIs, outstripping Mahendra Singh Dhoni's [ Images ] tally of 346 in five innings at an average of 115.33, in 2005-06 in India.

# Both Gordon Greenidge (353 in 1983-84) and Dilshan share a record for most runs in five-ODI series against India.

# Zaheer Khan [ Images ] is the top wicket-taker in the series - 7 wickets - at an average of 40.00.

# Tillakaratne Dilshan [ Images ] has completed 1,000 runs in 2009 at an average of 55.55 in 19 matches - the only one to perform the feat in Tests as well as ODIs this year.

# In the history of ODIs, only two games have been abandoned due to the condition of the pitch - both involving India and Sri Lanka played in India - the first being at Nehru Stadium, Indore on Dec 25 1997.
