He might be serving an indefinite ban but Pakistan's former captain Younis Khan [ Images ] insists his career is not over and he wants to go out of international cricket on a high.

The senior batsman said he would retire when he is at his peak.

"Allah knows best and as long as Allah wants, I will play for Pakistan," Younis told Pakpassion.net.

The former captain also felt that Pakistan would come good in the forthcoming Twenty20 [ Images ] World Cup in the West Indies [ Images ].

"If you look at the squad that won the cup last year and the current squad, only a handful of players are missing. Most of the names are the same so we should have a good chance at defending the title," predicted Younis.

Younis also said late coach of the Pakistan team Bob Woolmer [ Images ] changed his cricket career.

"Bob said that the No 3 slot would be a make or break position for my career. I would either be relegated if I didn't seize the opportunity, or I would become a star through the sheer number of runs the position offers. I figured it might as well be worth a try," recalled Younis.
