Sri Lanka [ Images ] fast bowler Lasith Malinga [ Images ] has been included in the 16-member squad for the three-Test series against India [ Images ], starting at Galle on July 18.
Malinga made his last Test appearance in December 2007 against England [ Images ].
The 26-year-old was out of action for nine months with a knee injury. He returned to international cricket in February 2009, playing limited-over and Twenty20 [ Images ] Internationals.
Off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan [ Images ], who is due to retire from Test cricket after the Galle match, is also in the squad along with 25-year-old Suraj Randiv [ Images ] who is likely to his place for the rest of the series.
