England [ Images ] bowler Graeme Swann [ Images ] has been charged with drink-driving, police said on Monday.
The spinner, third in the International Cricket Council's [ Images ] world bowling rankings, was arrested after being stopped by officers in Nottingham, central England, in April.
"Graeme Swann, 31, was charged on June 8 with driving a motor vehicle when the alcohol level was above the limit," a Nottinghamshire police spokeswoman said.
He is due to appear before Nottingham magistrates on Aug. 16.
